1. A working poor class has replaced a vast middle class.
2. Unions are still blamed even though 46% of the AFL/CIO are now public workers with only 15% manufacturing private
sector workers.
3. We still have miles of main streets in our major cities across the land looking like third world countries compared
to what we once enjoyed.
4. More than 4000 former U.S. factories are in Mexico . Others are across the globe. Now
when component parts are shipped to these former U.S. factories, we call them exports shipping parts to what was once our
own factories in the U.S.
5. Auto manufacturers have been replaced by foreign auto assemblers and all of sudden are described as manufacturers
even though the parts come from the wage slave labor markets of the world. Even the parts classified as made in the USA are
subcontracted from somewhere else. You
can trace some of these sub contractors to places using wage slave labor.
6. U.S. Taxpayers have paid out more than a billion dollars to many foreign auto assemblers to come the USA.
Ohio "lost" the Honda assembly plant to Indiana. In the end Indiana taxpayers will pay about $150 million dollars for the
assembly plant that will hire only 2,000 assembly
workers at half of what the auto manufacturing workers once made. At
the same time, 20,000 Indiana auto parts workers have lost their jobs. This is one of the deals Elizabeth Auster would put
down as a success story.
7. The PD reported a few years ago, that 47% of all small business people maxed out their credit cards to keep
their businesses afloat. Most likely the percentage has now gone down with many going bankrupt.
8. Of all the companies that I was a part of in my life, only one out of about 25 are still in business and
that one was owned by a foreign government. If I count up the number of people affected, it would add upto about 50,000 at
least, related to just my own work experience.
9. I can not think of any supplier I used in my computer business that is still in business. There were about
a hundred of these manufacturers. Out of about a thousand customers, virtually none have survived including Leeds Northrup
and other Industrial Computer Manfacturers,
Technicare Cat Scan and General Tire. Comparing this to your presentation it
is like the "surge" branding in Iraq outside the reality of the issues.
10. NAFTA/Free Trade is a delusional parasite orchestrated by dysfunctional Globalists outside the common good and
the will of the people. Our local value added economy has been destroyed. Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke now practices Free Trade
heresy telling us to buy domestically made products with the economic stimulus money, but these products no longer exist.
NAFTA/Free
Trade now has a history of failures since 1956.
