Here's our story
about PUFF. We raised a large family in Lakewood Ohio. We once bought a used GMC window van for the family. However, soon after buying it, the van stalled many times and we took it to PUFF'S to see what he
could do. He could have told us we need an expensive engine repair but he did not. He told us the former owner never
changed the oil and it needed a manual internal engine cleaning. He said if he did it, it would add up to large bill for the
intensive manual labor required. He told me that I could do it myself and showed me how to clean out all the gook in
the engine.
I did it and it was a success. We also flushed it out with engine cleaner before adding
the oil. The motor never sounded better and we used the VAN for many years for both personal and business use. We enjoyed
many vacations in it too.
PUFF always gave us the full story about any repair. Once he told us it would be better
for us to go to a transmission specialist rather than he doing for the sake of costs. As the children grew, we had five "junkers"
in the family at one time and PUFF never let us down. However, he told us when it was time to throw in the
towel with one or two of the old cars.
We referred our friends to PUFF and all were happy with the results. PUFF'S originally
was Lakewood Shell Ignition at Madison Ave and Warren Road in Lakewood Ohio and was known as an expert
in all electrical repairs while being the best all around mechanic in all other areas.
