Real Tax Reform "Taps" instead of taxes:  All U.S. Tax codes are obsolete. It is like an old inner tube with too many patches. We need a new common sense approach while the people decide from the bottom to the top what to do in the pusuit of the life ideal and the best in human nature.  Federalism and Centralization has failed.  They led us into the Free Trade Trap.

Our economy based on making money on money instead of making things has burned out.  No amount of funny money and global monopoly games will work.  Instead of continuing the charade, we now need to prepare for the post-globalization era.  Free trade has a history of more than a twenty years  of failures.  The U.S.has gone through the most massive dislocation of workers in its history. It is time to relocalize our economies with bottom up solutions.  Taps instead of taxes is a beginning. It buys us time until the people decide what is best for society - not Centralized Federalism.  ( Copy Taps instead of Taxes on your blogs and sites. )

We need to revise the way taxes are collected since so many value added levels or our economy are outside the USA. In many cases, tariffs have been taken off products and converted to hidden tariffs on workers and the workday. The Trade Deficit now totals in the Trillions of dollars. Reportedly, every family in the USA could have been given a $50,000 home with the money lost by the Trade Deficit.

Free Trade and Globalization has chopped up our economy into pieces destroying the balances of the local value added economy we once enjoyed.

Now the money spent at retail quickly fans out to the places where the products are made in places like China. The money does not stay here to regenerate our economy up and down the levels from raw product to retail.

Worst yet, the Payroll Tax is used in the General Fund as any other tax but is not part of any tax reform. About 70% of all workers pay more in Payroll Taxes than they do in Income Taxes. Tax breaks are isolated this way to only a few while the working poor and small businesses pay up to what in essence is a flat tax on work and business at up to over 15%.

We are now voting at the check out counter more than we do in the voting booth on what kind of society we want. The Government will find it difficult to support the entitlements as more production and jobs move out of the USA. When we shop at places like Wal-Mart, a major part of the revenues goes out of the country to where the products are made. We shop our way out of our jobs.

We need to find a way now to shore up a dwindling tax base. The working middle class that once supported a strong tax base is dwindling. The Federal, State and Local Governments are now the largest employers in many major cities. Next comes the Medical and Education workers who also depend on taxes for their pay. These sectors are growing while the tax producting jobs are evaporating.

We need to find a way to back up all this. The worst thing about taxes is the percentage. Business and people manipulate their incomes to escape the higher tax rates. We need to come up with a diverse way to collect taxes at rates where the balances in the economy are not upset.

Tapsearch.Com and Tapart News suggests keeping a tax rate at a maximum of 3% per unit. We call these units a "Tap".

Then we would Tap all transactions without affecting any level in the economy radically. We could also do away with the IRS since the Taps would be automatically processed with every transaction be it a retail, workers wages, services, and up and down the line in all levels of the economy as voted to be included as an item to be Tapped. All imported products and services from other countries would carry a Tap of 3% since they replaced a level that was producing revenues inside the USA. We could combine all Taps to produce a adequate revenues to replace all other taxes including the Payroll Tax. There would be no need for paper work or auditing since the Taps are automatically applied each and every time without exception. You could have a double Tap totaling 6% for corporate profits if voters want it this way. However this would still be a very low tax to encourage companies to operate and employ workers in the USA instead moving to other countries.

Free Trade has made workers the real commodities and not products per se. This needs to stop. Workers should not be put on a global trading block to compete down to the lowest common denominators of destitute, wage slave and even child labor. Taps would highlight all the levels in a value added economy and prove how each level is needed for a successful economy.

Please pass on the ideas of Taps to all you know and your political leaders. The larger a tax rate gets, the more manipulation happens and the balance of a local value added economy is upset.
