needs of society and represented a vast tax base has been replaced by a working poor class. This makes no
sense. Workers at places like Wal-Mart, McDonalds, Wendy's, Bob Evans, Kroger Marathon, Manpower, Burger King, Subway,
Frisch's, Yum! Brands and even workers at major hospitals need government assistance to survive. About 75,000 Ohioans
employed at 40 companies received food stamps and thousands also received other public assistance.
Now there is talk
of a national added value sales tax of about 23 percent being invoked to pay for many needs. Why take tariffs off products
and put them on workers. There is no common sense to any of this.
Revitalize the small business sector. Give small
businesses a chance to compete against the retail giants. Towns across the U.S. are rethinking allowing big box stores putting

Reduce the barriers for new business ventures. It makes no sense for a start-up company to invest in research
and development if the manufacturing phase goes outside the USA. Anything can be copied during the production cycle.
Revitalize local banks who know more about local businesses. Set up local capital to launch business activity as cities
have done for major pro sports teams.
Encourage employee ownership and share in companies profits.
Cut
regulations.
Reward savings.
Reduce subsidies for big corporations that control markets because they
enjoy unfair subsidies.
Decentralize Power! Give budget powers to the smallest units.
