Clinton years represent a pivotal point for the surge of free trade and globalization programs. President
Clinton proclaimed prosperity while millions were losing their jobs in the most massive dislocation of jobs in U.S.
history including the Great Depression. Clinton rushed billions of dollars to Mexico to save the peso and the globalization
of money.
Ray verifies this with lists of the jobs and company closedowns. In the computer industry
alone, millions lost their jobs which led to the Y2k crisis. Clinton enjoyed an artificial economic stimulus from the
billions spent to correct the Y2k crisis while many companies spent money they did not have to correct the problems.
This caused the stock market to crash when Clinton left office.
And workers still have no voice in
the process of globalization and free trade under President Obama.
The elder President Bush announced the new world
order and formulated the free trade and globalization programs. President Clinton followed and consummated these programs
with a Democratic Congress passing both the NAFTA and GATT free trade agreements joining hands with Senator Dole and
Rep Gingrich . President Bush II , followed in President Clinton's footsteps and passed Fast Track and backed all
free trade programs. The baton now is passed on to President Obama who follows down the same path even though
free trade and globalization are the major causes of our economic crisis. President Obama is a Globalist free trader
too and ignores the fact that workers have no voice in the process.
